Process for Approval

1. First, develop your proposal on why you need to use this data, and the use(s) you intend.

2. Get official IRB approval of your proposal from your home institution. (If you are not affiiliated with an academic institution, check their Research web pages to see how to do so).

3. Send us your IRB approval and proposal: popec@musc.edu or bdavis@uncc.edu.  We must co-sponsor your project to the MUSC IRB. We will notify you when we send your project to the MUSC IRB, and when we hear back from them.
